Overview

Canada's home care worker immigration pilots let qualified child care and home support workers arrive with permanent residence, provided they have a full-time job offer in the field and meet language and education thresholds. Intake caps fill quickly each year.

What you need

• CLB 4 or higher in English or French
• A Canadian secondary school credential or equivalent
• Six months of recent relevant work experience or a training credential
• A full-time home care job offer outside Quebec

   Find a qualifying employer — private household or authorised organisation.
